We have made a modest but successful start, shooting over four nights here in Adelaide. The rain robbed us of two scheduled nights but it was a good way to start the project – starting with smaller steps and then building on that. Filming in a series of shorter, then longer blocks allows the intensity to be spread out over a longer period of time.

The production is based in Adelaide and we will be shooting most of the film here.  All the post-production will be based in Adelaide as well. Tania Nehme has made an assembly edit of the footage. Imelda and Ali have created riveting performances. This is a film with only two actors, that’s a hard task, but the performances are so intriguing and heartfelt that I feel full of enthusiasm and am working even harder to get the rest of the story shot. Thank you to out crew on this first difficult block: Andrew Horton was the Director of Photography, Roberto Caras, the gaffer, Hugh Freytag was assisting on camera and doing everything else from gripping to problem solving, Will Sheridan on sound.
